Oh my gosh!! I love your writing so much!! I don’t know if you are following the RNC but I am so sickened by the vitriol. I’m an older white lady, who taught ESL for years. I was teaching during the 2016 election and saw how that impacted my students and the language seems that much worse this time around. I so worry about the kids and communities in general who will suffer from the bullshit that comes their way from all the hate the is being spewed. And yes - the divisions that he is encouraging - we need to help people not fall for them. I’m now to Iowa so my sphere of influence is very small. I’m glad you are here writing your observations and wisdoms so beautifully.
